One Year From Graduation, A Rising Senior's Fight to Stay In College

Meet Keshawn Brown, a rising senior at Johnson C. Smith University, an HBCU (Historically Black College University) in Charlotte, NC. Keshawn Brown, a self-supporting student, majoring in Sports Management, is currently seeking financial assistance to help cover the costs of his Spring Semester in school. Keshawn is a student mentor with JCSU's Becoming Kings Mentorship Program, a scholar with a 3.0 GPA, and is a member of PHI EPSILON KAPPA, a professional fraternity that focuses on physical education, health, and human performance and related fields.
Keshwan's goal is to work in sports and hopefully become a coach or work in the professional area of sports, including collegiate sports. With just one year away from graduation, he faces financial challenges to stay in school. The Black Insider created a GoFundMe page for Keshawn.
